About Myers Aviation
Steve Myers has been an A&P mechanic with IA endorsement since 1980. Myers Aviation, Inc. was incorporated in 1989 after many years of recovering and rebuilding salvage aircraft in his "spare" time. That first 2000 square foot hangar has been added on twice to over 10,000 square feet. It's not just Steve working alone these days; of our seven full-time mechanics, six are FAA certificated A&P's and three have IA endorsements. Our experience in repair, inspection, rebuilding, and general maintenance, includes piston singles and twins from Cessna, Beechcraft, Piper, Mooney, Bellanca, Airtractor, Waco and even a Hawker Sea Fury. Our speciality is working with insurance companies to carefully recover damaged aircraft from on and off-airport crash sites all over the Midwest. After recovery, we offer reasonably priced, secure indoor and outdoor storage, and quality rebuilding with our own jigs and tools for wings, stabilizers, and controls.
